Large plastic septic tanks
Plastic septic tanks are septic tanks made of plastic materials. Compared with brick, FRP and prefabricated cement septic tanks, it is lighter in weight, convenient in transportation and lower in cost. According to the occasion, it is generally divided into household and urban use. The size of household septic tanks is relatively small, with a capacity of 1.0 cubic, 1.5 cubic, and 2 cubic. Urban septic tanks are generally large plastic septic tanks with a capacity of 5 cubic meters.

Urban water supply and drainage projects occupy a very important position in urban municipal infrastructure construction, and their role in sewage treatment is irreplaceable. However, traditional septic tanks in sewage treatment often cause a lot of pollution. If this pollution is not greatly reduced, the effectiveness of other sewage treatment measures will be greatly affected. The application of plastic septic tanks overcomes the shortcomings of traditional septic tanks such as leakage, long construction period, high cost, and high pollution index. Therefore, large plastic septic tanks are widely promoted in urban transformation.

The necessity of large plastic septic tanks in urban sewage treatment

Due to problems in design, construction, use, and management of traditional septic tanks, more than 90% of septic tanks gradually leak after two years of use. The leakage of septic tanks pollutes underground drinking water sources and urban underground water supply pipes, and even causes buildings to tilt to varying degrees. Moreover, the technical content of traditional septic tanks is relatively low. There has been little change in the structural size since its development, and there has been no improvement in other technical aspects. Straight-through discharge is adopted, and the quality of treated water is poor. In addition, it is impossible to clean and discharge sewage according to a reasonable cleaning cycle. Severely exceeding the standard, greatly increasing the pressure of the urban drainage network, and easily causing sewage blockage, leakage, and increasing the workload of the sewage treatment plant. In a few areas without a municipal pipe network, the sewage treated by the traditional septic tank is directly discharged into the river lake, causing serious damage to the water environment of surrounding rivers and lakes. At the same time, the corrosion function of traditional septic tanks is poor, and the cleaning cycle is short. If the daily maintenance and management are not in place, there will be unsafe hidden dangers such as methane poisoning and explosion. Therefore, it is urgent to speed up the transformation and upgrading of septic tanks, and the application of large plastic septic tanks is imperative.

Advantages of large plastic septic tanks compared to traditional septic tanks

(1) High compressive strength. The circumferential dense corrugated structure design, the compressive and impact strength is several times higher than that of the square, cylindrical, and spherical arched types, and it can be used in different situations without any other reinforcement measures. There is no abnormality in the reinforced 40-ton truck. However, if the traditional septic tank is not reinforced, the maximum load capacity is generally about 25 tons.

(2) Small footprint. The product has a compact structure and a small footprint. The actual footprint is about 60% of that of a traditional septic tank, saving land resources. Traditional septic tanks need to build walls and pour concrete, which occupies a large area.

(3) Quick and easy installation. Factory production, light weight, convenient transportation and installation, flexible site selection, short construction period, low construction cost, and can be installed and used on the same day. The traditional septic tank has a long construction period and is easily affected by the rainy season and groundwater.

(4)) Never leak, good tightness. Plastic septic tanks are generally manufactured as a whole, without cracks and leakage, which avoids the traditional septic tanks that affect the safety of groundwater and buildings due to leakage. Traditional septic tanks are prone to leakage and are generally at least 5 meters away from the building, which easily pollutes groundwater.

(5) Good environmental benefits and easy cleaning. Suspended anaerobic filler is used inside the plastic septic tank, which can improve the reaction efficiency through contact fermentation reaction. It is a new generation of high-efficiency non-powered anaerobic reactor. Traditional septic tanks degrade slowly and have a short cycle.

(6) Low economic indicators. The budget price is about 20% lower than that of reinforced concrete septic tanks, and basically the same as that of brick septic tanks. It is an ideal product with high quality, low price and economic benefits, and is well received by real estate development companies, construction units and users. Traditional septic tanks are expensive, cumbersome to construct, and have poor environmental protection effects.

(7) durable. The use of polymer composite materials follows the trend of material development, is not easy to age, does not deform, is resistant to acid and alkali, and is resistant to corrosion. The normal use life is the same as that of buildings, eliminating the situation that traditional septic tanks are not suitable for acidic sewage. Traditional septic tanks are prone to aging and deformation, poor acid and alkali resistance, and poor corrosion resistance

Structure of plastic septic tank

After continuous improvement and development in recent years, plastic steel septic tanks have been standardized a lot. Its shape is generally a horizontal cylinder, and most of the two ends are convex heads with good mechanical properties. There are partitions inside. The whole body is divided into three parts - the third-level anaerobic chamber, the second-level anaerobic chamber and the clarification chamber. The bottom of the clarification chamber and the second-level anaerobic chamber is connected, and "MDS special filler" is added in the middle. Designing such a separation can reduce the contact time between sewage and sludge, so that the two processes of acidic fermentation and alkaline fermentation are isolated from each other and do not interfere with each other. At the same time, the presence of fillers also increases the contact surface area between sewage sludge and anaerobic bacteria. It also greatly improves the reaction efficiency. In this way, it can play an active role in interception, precipitation of large particles of impurities in sewage, prevention of blockage of sewage pipes, and reduction of pipeline burial depth.
