(4) The minimum diameter of pipes in each pressure zone is specified as follows: the minimum diameter of 0.6Mpa pipe is 63mm, the minimum diameter of 0.8Mpa pipe is 50mm, the minimum diameter of 1.0Mpa pipe is 40mm, and the minimum diameter of 1.25Mpa pipe is 32mm, The minimum diameter of 1.6Mpa pipe is 20mm and 25mm.
(5) The nominal pressure of PVC plastic pipes for water supply is generally 1.6Mpa, and it is matched with pipes of various pressures.

Main uses of PVC
1. PVC profile
Profiles and profiled materials are the largest areas of PVC consumption in my country, accounting for about 25% of the total PVC consumption. They are mainly used to make doors and windows and energy-saving materials, and their application volume is still increasing significantly nationwide. In developed countries, the market share of plastic doors and windows is also the highest, such as 50% in Germany, 56% in France, and 45% in the United States.
2. PVC pipe
Among the many PVC products, PVC plastic pipes for water supply are its second largest consumption area, accounting for about 20% of its consumption. In my country, PVC plastic pipes for water supply were developed earlier than PE pipes and PP pipes, with many varieties, excellent performance and wide application range, occupying an important position in the market.
3. PVC film
The consumption of PVC in the field of PVC film ranks third, accounting for about 10%. After PVC and additives are mixed and plasticized, a three-roll or four-roll calender is used to form a transparent or colored film with a specified thickness, and the film is processed by this method to become a calendered film. It can also be cut and heat-sealed to process packaging bags, raincoats, tablecloths, curtains, inflatable toys, etc. The wide transparent film can be used for greenhouses, plastic greenhouses and mulching films. The biaxially stretched film has the characteristics of thermal shrinkage and can be used for shrink packaging.
4. PVC hard material and board
Stabilizers, lubricants and fillers are added to PVC. After mixing, hard pipes, special-shaped pipes and corrugated pipes of various diameters can be extruded with an extruder, which can be used as sewer pipes, drinking water pipes, wire casings or stair handrails. . The rolled sheets are overlapped and hot pressed to make hard plates of various thicknesses. The plate can be cut into the desired shape, and then welded into various chemical-resistant storage tanks, air ducts and containers using PVC welding rods with hot air.
5. PVC general soft products
Extruders can be used to extrude hoses, cables, wires, etc.; injection molding machines can be used with various molds to make plastic sandals, soles, slippers, toys, auto parts, etc.
6. PVC packaging materials
Polyvinyl chloride products are mainly used for packaging of various containers, films and rigid sheets. PVC containers are mainly used for the production of mineral water, beverage, cosmetic bottles, and also for the packaging of refined oils. PVC films can be coextruded with other polymers to produce low-cost laminates, as well as transparent articles with good barrier properties. PVC film can also be used in stretch or heat shrink packaging for mattresses, cloth, toys and industrial goods.

7. PVC siding and floors
PVC siding is mainly used to replace aluminum siding. Except for a part of polyvinyl chloride resin, the remaining components of PVC floor tiles are recycled materials, adhesives, fillers and other components, which are mainly used on the hard floors of airport terminals and other places.
8. PVC consumer goods
Luggage bags are traditional products made of polyvinyl chloride, which is used to make various imitation leathers for luggage bags, sports products such as basketball, football and rugby. It can also be used to make belts for uniforms and special protective equipment. Polyvinyl chloride fabrics for clothing are generally absorbent fabrics (without coating), such as ponchos, baby pants, imitation leather jackets and various rain boots. Polyvinyl chloride is used in many sports entertainment products, such as toys, records and sporting goods, and PVC toys and sporting goods have grown significantly and have an advantage due to its low production cost and easy molding.
9. PVC coated products
Artificial leather with substrate is made by coating PVC paste on cloth or paper, and then plasticizing at above 100°C. It can also be made by calendering PVC and additives into a film first, and then pressing it with the substrate. The artificial leather without substrate is directly calendered into a soft sheet of a certain thickness by a calender, and then embossed with patterns. Artificial leather can be used to make luggage, leather bags, book covers, sofas and car seat cushions, etc., as well as floor leather, used as floor coverings for buildings.
10. PVC foam products
When soft PVC is mixed, an appropriate amount of foaming agent is added to make a sheet, which is foamed and formed into a foamed plastic, which can be used as foam slippers, sandals, insoles, and shock-proof cushioning packaging materials. It can also be used to form low-foaming rigid PVC sheets and profiles based on extruders, which can replace wood and are a new type of building material.
11. PVC transparent sheet
Add impact modifier and organic tin stabilizer to PVC, and it becomes a transparent sheet after mixing, plasticizing and calendering. It can be made into thin-walled transparent containers or used for vacuum blister packaging by thermoforming. It is an excellent packaging material and decorative material.
12. Other
Doors and windows are assembled with hard special-shaped materials. In some countries, it has occupied the market of doors and windows together with wooden doors, windows and aluminum windows; imitation wood materials, steel building materials (north, seaside); hollow containers.
