1. Labyrinth Drip Irrigation Tape

Features: A labyrinth flow channel is set inside the tape body, and the water flow is controlled by the flow channel structure, and the water output is uniform.

Advantages: Simple structure, low manufacturing cost, suitable for large-scale farmland, commonly used in crops such as cotton, corn, and vegetables.

2. Inline Drip Tape with Flat Emitter

Features: During the production process, the flat dripper is embedded in the inner wall of the tape body, and the drippers are arranged neatly.

Advantages: high water discharge accuracy, strong anti-clogging ability, suitable for crops with high requirements for water uniformity, such as greenhouse vegetables and fruits.

3. Pressure-Compensated Drip Tape

Features: The tape is integrated with a pressure compensation device to ensure stable water flow under different terrains and pressures.

Advantages: Suitable for mountainous or hilly areas with large terrain fluctuations, good drip uniformity, suitable for fruit trees and cash crops.

4. Adjustable Flow Drip Tape

Features: The water outlet can adjust the flow rate according to the water demand of the crop.

Advantages: High flexibility, fine irrigation management, suitable for a variety of crops with different water requirements.

How to choose drip irrigation tape ‌ ‌

1. Adapt according to soil type ‌

1.1. Sandy soil ‌: Large porosity, you need to choose a patch-type drip irrigation tape with a larger dripper flow (≥2.6L/h) or a smaller spacing (20cm) to avoid water infiltration too quickly;

1.2. Clay soil ‌: You need to reduce the dripper flow (≤2.0L/h) and increase the spacing (30cm) to prevent water accumulation from affecting root respiration; ‌

1.3. Loam soil ‌: For general use, choose a patch-type drip irrigation tape with a dripper flow of 1.8-2.6L/h and a spacing of 30cm. ‌

2. Crop demand matching‌ ‌

2.1. Field crops (corn, cotton): labyrinth or high-speed patch drip irrigation tape (wall thickness 0.2-0.3mm) is preferred to reduce costs; ‌

2.2. High value-added crops (fruits, vegetables): Inlaid drip irrigation pipes or patch drip irrigation tapes (wall thickness ≥ 0.3mm) are recommended to ensure uniform water and fertilizer.

Analysis of raw material formula for drip irrigation tape production

Main material formula‌ Conventional formula High-density polyethylene (HDPE): 50 parts, the main brands are 15803, 15813, 10803, etc., with good heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, can ensure the stability and durability of the drip irrigation tape during use.

Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE): 30 parts, the main brands are 0209, 0220, 0210, etc., can improve the flexibility and impact resistance of the drip irrigation tape, making it less likely to break during laying and use.

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE): 15 parts, the main grades are 8008, 5410, 6070, 0760, 0754, etc., which helps to improve the processing performance of the drip irrigation tape and make the raw materials easier to plasticize and shape during the extrusion molding process.

Black masterbatch: 3 parts, used to give the drip irrigation tape a black appearance, play a shading role, reduce the degradation of polyethylene materials by ultraviolet rays, and extend the service life of the drip irrigation tape.

Double-proof masterbatch: 2 parts, with anti-aging and anti-ultraviolet functions, further improve the weather resistance of the drip irrigation tape, so that it can better resist the erosion of natural factors in outdoor environments.
