Introduction to the differences of three kinds of HDPE corrugated pipes
There are many types of HDPE corrugated pipes, such as HDPE double-wall corrugated pipes, hollow wall pipes, HDPE spiral corrugated pipes, etc. These types of corrugated pipes are different due to different pipe specifications and different pipe wall structures.

1. The HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe

It is formed by one-time fusion and extrusion of the corrugated outer wall and a smooth inner wall extruded from HDPE at the same time. Tube with hollow structure. It has the characteristics of good ring stiffness, good strength and toughness, lightweight, strong impact resistance, not easy to break, and convenient transportation and installation.

The pipes are mainly connected by rubber ring sockets (can also be connected by heat shrinkable tapes). Due to the special corrugated pipe wall structure design of the double-wall corrugated pipe, the material can be saved under the condition of the same diameter and the same ring stiffness. However, due to the limitation of the production process, the caliber that can be produced in China is only DN1200, which makes its promotion subject to certain restrictions.

2. HDPE hollow wall winding pipe 

It is a kind of pipe that is made of HDPE as raw material to produce rectangular tube blank and formed by winding and welding. Due to its special molding process, it can produce large-diameter pipes with a diameter of up to 3000mm, which is difficult or even impossible for other production processes to complete.

The pipe connection mainly adopts the hot-melt belt connection method, and the connection cost is slightly higher than that of the double-wall corrugated pipe. 3. The metal reinforced polyethylene (HDPE) spiral corrugated pipe 

It is a structural wall pipe made of polyethylene as the main raw material and processed by a special extrusion winding process. The inner layer of the product is the PE layer and the middle layer is coated It is composed of a three-layer special structure with a plastic-treated metal steel belt layer and a PE layer as the outer layer.

The plastic-coated steel strip and the inner and outer polyethylene layers are compounded in a molten state so that they are organically integrated, which not only improves the strength of the pipe but also solves the problem that the exposed steel strip is easy to corrode.
